PUBLIC EDUCATION EMPLOYEES’ HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN
The Public Education Employees’ Health Insurance Plan provides financial assistance to qualifying is full and part-time employees and their dependents of any public education institute within the state of Alabama and their dependents. Qualifying members receive reduced costs for hospital, medical, or health maintenance organization premiums.

ALABAMA FARMERS FEDERATION
The Alabama Farmers Federation is a membership-based organization that offers health insurance through its Alfa Health Plan, which is administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. Membership to The Alabama Farmers Federation is open to anyone living in the state of Alabama. In order to qualify for the Alfa Health Plan, you must be an AFF member, in good health, under age 65, and not eligible for coverage under any Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama group health plan or Medicare.

The Health Coverage Tax Credit is a federal tax credit that may pay up to 65% of qualified health plan premiums for eligible trade-impacted workers and certain Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation benefit recipients.

ALL Kids Program
ALL Kids is the Children’s Health Insurance Program offered by the Alabama Department of Public Health for uninsured children under age 19. ALL Kids helps families who make too much money to qualify for Medicaid and cannot afford private health insurance. (Family size and income determine eligibility under ALL Kids.) Applications are available at any county health department or Department of Human Resources office, as well as most hospitals.
